    Default Time of other factions turns

    First off I really like this mod.

    I am just wondering if its normal for the computer turns to take upwards of 3-4 minutes on average early game?

    Have you downloaded the Faster Turn Times sub-mod?
    If not, you should.
    It's in the sub-mod forum somewhere. It is also included in the sub-mod Compilation, which is linked in my signature.

    I can vouch for ya it works, makes my turns usually 2 mins max

    What's odd for me is that without FTT my turns are about 15 seconds tops, and with it, they're about 2 minutes. While I have no doubt Meneth's submod is of high integrity and usefulness for many, it apparently doesn't work for everyone
    But yes, depending on the amount of memory you have 3-4 minutes is entirely normal.

    I think the permanent watch towers...if you use that it slows down your game...i never use it so i think that's why i don't really have that problem though.

    It would slow down your game a very small amount, so I doubt it would have any more effect give or take 5 seconds.

    I did, I tried 3.1 and X and met the same results. :/

    I'm glad it works for others, even though it doesn't for me.

    Not a problem at all. I've gotten quite used to it at this point, but no argument or problem I could make for anyone else would make a difference really, or be worth the energy, so I simply correct it when I see it is all.

    And yes I agree, Serj is indeed awesome, if not the father of alternative singing

    No it's not that but the insane map size and a whole set of running animations in it that cause the lag on C.map. The biggest culprits are High Mountains ranges and Animated tress(forests).

    I think it does too to an extent because more of the map is revealed, also if you have follow_ai on you gotta follow them if they come into view
