• Cavalry unit size changed from 60 to 40 with corresponding cost reduction.
• Archery units 20% smaller missile stockpile, 20% cheaper.

• Cavalry unit size changed from 60 to 40 with corresponding cost reduction. Elephant and Chariot unit sizes also made smaller and cheaper, but on a case to case basis.

One step at a time hehe, archers needs overlooking in a more creative way.

• Total Archer overhaul: severe reduction in attack, defense skill, morale and cost for all archery and slinger units (not so severe for elephants, chariots and cataphract archers). This was done to counter the possibility of turning archers into long range javeliners by adding full chevrons. This is also realistic, since an inexperienced archer is useless. Maximize the archers experience to utilize their full power or keep them as they are as cheap cannon fooder, the choice is yours! This new level of realism was made possible by discovering that negative morale actually works when experimenting

If this get incorporated into 2.2, i'd like it ready to go with the latest EDU, might even do an online tourny with a cash prize if a) i can get enough people to play and b) im violating any ToS

Hey well I haven't been actively playing myself the past month and haven't received much of feedback so haven't been any reason for update. The current version appears to be pretty well balanced though.

I don't think I should be participating, having personally decided the stats for every single unit is comparable to cheating if there is money involved

I PM'd an admin about the use of money, nothing back yet so im saying start the tourney end of june/beginning of july (summer holidays, end of exams etc)
Need to set up networks, a way of registering for the tourney, rules, logistics etc. Also where to get the money e.g either pay to enter, or one or two of us can donate a little with free entry..
Im hoping if it's done properly, we can have a pretty massive tournament.

Do I apply these fixes after installing the MP launcher?

I've reinstalled the mod (had some problems), applied the latest patch, and downloaded the MP launcher. Anything else that needs to be done? The launcher says it's updated to .95 but I only see it going up to .92 here.

General changes? Well as for the EDU itself it's unchanged since the 0.92 version of it, but there is no harm in calling it 0.95 I suppose

GI, may I ask you to postpone all updates till after Summer? That way we dont have different versions being used in the tournye.
