Default How do people deal with the weather?

The weather effects, like snow storms and fog, that make units invisible. It's annoying when I can't see what's going on in the battle. Also is their anyway to find out the time of a battle before entering one? Like if it's night time or close to it?

Sometimes before I press "Deployment" I press the "Wait" tab and usually the weather gets either better or worse for snow, rain and fog, usually it gets better than when you first enter the battle. Well I don't know how you could know when it's day or night before you enter a battle. Hope this solves your problem!

Try to press "wait" while you are a attacker and hope the weather is better. You can see the battle time is day or night via the battle screen show on the top of the deployment picture right before the battle. If it's night mean the battle fight in the night (note that battle in the afternoon still be count as "day" battle). You can also choose to fight night battle if you are a attacker and your general have "night fighter" trail

Pressing 'wait' will also change time of day. It will be a bit darker when it's night, and then get darker as the battle progresses.

Weather in this game is also dynamic. If you start a battle in heavy rain or snow it may let up or stop completely as the battle progresses.

i like new weather. it's realistic because it actually hampers the player. although in real life you can't pause or it flash button. lol

Weather you can't do much about aside from "Wait" although the worst weather seems to happen more in the winter. Time of day a battle starts is related to movement points used- IE, at start of turn the enemy was only a couple moves away it will be early morning... halfway it will be middle of the day, use full movement it will be near sunset.

In allot of cases weather is a fun and realistic addition to the game, especially rain since it has the most dynamic effect on the battle. The one thing I cant stand is when theres a blinding fog in egypt. I wish the weather was more regionally based.

I think the fog in Egypt is usually a sandstorm... hard to tell for sure though.
