Why cant I see the Advantages/Disadvantages of Factions anymore?

Hi!
I Got SS 6.3.
In the faction selection screen you cant see Advantages and disadvantages of factions anymore.
So,how can i decide which faction to choose based on strengths and weaknesses?
Or is there a thread on these forums which shows faction attributes?
Also,are the late and early era campaigns of the same turn-length?
Are there any faction guides for 6.3?

that makes no sense to me, you are just replacing text with text. that shouldn't make a difference. Why don't you try rewriting the advantages and disadvanteges into one paragraph form like your current text descriptions (I think they are all one paragraph, I am not sure though) to get it back again, because I miss that feature..

Thats because it wasn't just the text I was talking about, I was thinking he was talking about the whole package including the info pictures with the special unit. To begin with it doesn't make sense to allow 30something factions and then have a limited buffer that causes crashes when that amount of factions is introduced.

That said - interesting point. Why don't you swing by in Text improvement project for 6.3 if you have any more ideas - thats exactly why I created that "submod".
Or better yet give me the descriptions in that topic you would like to see added - the more help I get, the faster the work.

The early era campaign has 460 years while the late era campaign has 400years.
1100-1560 and 1220-1620.

Updated descriptions with Advantages/Disadvantages (early era only).
Extract it and replace the file in \mods\SS6.3\data\campaign\early\text
Run ss_setup.exe again and reselect early campaign and your campaign options.
If it doesn't work after that, delete campaign_descriptions.txt.strings.bin in \mods\SS6.3\data\text

This is what i do.
Hell i would do this if there WAS a description in the campaign screen. I want to see the actual roster, not a vague indication.

I reinstalled the game yesterday as I have messed the files up in a little modding.
Then I get into Campaign menu to choose a faction. Then I remembered I can look the faction adv./disadv. in custom battle menu so I entered the Custom Battle menu then the game crashed.
And I am using 6.3.
