Google earth + prepaid internet
Does anyone know how much data is transferred over a google earth connection? I'm currently using prepaid internet and am on course to use up the 5GB over the course of 10 days but have had some requests to use google earth but denied them since skype video chat used up 1GB in 7:41

Re: Google earth + prepaid internet
Don't know really, only way to check would be to use some bandwidth measuring tool like netlimiter and play on it for a few mins. I would imagine it's useage will depend highly on what you are doing with it, using street view (does google earth incorporate street view?) would use much more bandwidth that just looking at the globe for instance.
