can someone tell me how to change a units texture not add it because I always get error when I open thepackfile saying db supercedes the packfiler. Please help

But you need to change unit skin ( reskin mod needed ) or the overall unit model?

If you need a new unit skin - it is a one of the mods released for proper unit.

But i think that you mean - unit model.

So, you will need to find and edit some files in models.pack.

Inside this pack are ALL units models from Empire Total War - including ship models, human models, etc.

You will need an 3D editor perhaps, that will open *.rigid_models and *.rigid_meshes.

I recommend Ultimate Unwrap 3D ( unfortunately full version costs 59$ ).
