Yes. Just add mp3´s to your RTW RS 2/data/music
Make sure that they names of the songs got no spacing in the them. For instance if the songs name is "Roma_Surrectum" then edit it's name to either "Roma Surrectum" or "RomaSurrectum"
Then go to your data and then open the descr_sounds_music.txt and add the songs to the places you wish to hear them. You then need to copy the file to each modfolders´s data folder.

I really like your music but i also like the original music in RTW, it is one of the best game soundtracks i know of .Maybe in the next version you could combine yours and vanilla music in a "best of both worlds" combination so we have nice ones from Vanilla like "Melee Cafe" "Soldier's Chant" "Barbarian Victory" "Time to Kill" and "Warrior March".Actually now that Ive come to think of it RTW has such an awesome soundtrack that it must be a real challenge for you guys to make music equally awesome.I personally really appreciate your work.GJ

Or have itunes in the background . 300 OST with a bit of Alexander and gladiator make a good mix.

I would also like to put some of the original tunes back into the game (mainly the Roman stuff) but also keep the new tracks as well, is there a limit to how many tracks can be in the game at any one time or can I just keep putting them in without any worries?

I've tried adding music yesterday myself. as far as I know (from adding music to other mods for Rome), you have to also delete the events and music files to let the game generate it again out of your "music" folder, right?

but where do I have to do change that (adding music to the music-folder and to the text-file) playing with alexander? in the original, bi, or in the alexander data folder? or even in the faction folder created by RSII? in all of them?!

    greez, and thanks ahead!

thanks, I must try that out.

By the way; I must say this mod really gets the last out of this game; graphics, action, strategie, history and much more. there's no other game equal to it! thanks to all the people involved!

You only need to add the music to the main RTW RS 2 data/sounds/music.
The descr_sounds_music.txt must be edited in each folder if you want to hear the changes when playing each faction.
Also don't copy and past these as they are highly customized for each faction.

ok, thanks for the clarification apple!

so, all pieces put together; to change music for RSII:
    - add music pieces to "Rome+RSII/data/sounds/music
*corrected - do NOT delete the events and music files there
    - update the descr_sounds_music.txt in the main data folder
    - update the descr_sounds_music.txt in the folder of the faction you want to play

    could you confirm?

No don't delete anything. I've already done that we I added the songs to the mod.
And make sure that there is now spacings in the names of your songs.

Make sure that they names of the songs got no spacing in the them. For instance if the songs name is "Roma_Surrectum" then edit it's name to either "Roma Surrectum" or "RomaSurrectum"
