    Default Failing the Victory Conditions

Has anyone decided not to fulfill their victory conditions before the time limit?

What happens if you don't? Are you automatically booted?

You lose, but I think you can still continue playing like in other Total War games.

I never accomplish the victory conditions, or accomplish them and then get bored before the end of the time limit. Winning's never been that important to me in total war games

yeah pretty much the same here. but in Empire it's even worse then medievall ii or rome, cause there you could win at any turn, while in empire, you have to sit through untill 1750 or 1800...

Heh, I past the time limit. And...well...there was a "Defeated" screen. Then I was given the choice to either continue or go to the menu.
