tilde key/console problem

From Roma Surrectum, told to post here..

I just want to tinker around with it but for some reason my ~ doesn't make the console show. I've tried looking in keyboard settings to change the binding key but I can't find it. Can anyone give me a hand? I'm running Vista 64 bit and in the old surrectum I was able to change the console button but I can't find it in this new one.

Is there a file I can download to remap keys?

Does the tild key work in either RTW or other mods?

Omn UK keyboards the key to use is not the tild key but the '¬' one. This is in the otp left hand corner of a keyboard - under the escape key and to the left of the '1' in the nuymber keys at the top.

well it worked with the original rome mod for sure. I just can't find the option to change the mapped key under the options.

The ` key should work on any mod, RTW/BI/ALEX/M2TW/Kingdoms as they use the same hotkey keyboard layout for US and UK keyboards. If it worked for RS1, there is no reason for it not to work with RS2 on the same keyboard.

The only remapping options I know of are in the game's options menu.
