    Default Wealthy regions

Hi, I have a question/suggestion: Are some regions wealthier than others? The reason I ask is because as a king/emperor, if you were to expand your regime, you would target wealthier regions for obvious reasons. So I figured that if theres some sort of "overview" over which regions are basically wealthier (if any), using this when conquering it would make the whole process more immersive than if youre just randomly expanding. Any takers?

Most capitals. Try to go for close ones as you will get less the longer away you are from your original settlements.

Yeah I would guess capitals, and ofc the closer the better.

I can always roleplay the the nile region is extra valuable because of grain or something or other. I was just wondering if there where other regions, made wealthier by the modders. Actually, as far as the roleplaying aspect goes, if the historical-minded people of these forums would use this thread to write up the wealthier and more important regions of the ancient era, that would be .

Generally Greek cities are wealthy. E.g take Massilia as the Arverni.

i generally find that the civilised factions settlements are worth more, I got a nice income boost when i toook rome i lost it about 3 turns later but it allowed my phalanxes to reach the main roman legions and ddestroy them on my terms.
