    Default Economic traits

    Hi everyone,

Couldn't see if this had been posted...

Does anyone know how to get rid of the "Economic Depression" traits for family members? I've been having surpluses for quite a number of turns now and nothing has happened. (I'm playing as Rome).

Kill your faction leader. If he got one then most of your other generals will get one.
We made it this way so that your faction leader is more important when it comes to your factions economy.

Well, you say you have surpluses, but in fact your income would much larger if your characters didn't have that trait. So it's working and just telling you that you could be making more money, but your Faction Leader sucks, so you aren't.
