    Default Editing Generals Battle Model help

    Well once again I come to the Mod Workshop looking for help. Modding is harder than it sounds!.

    Anyway, I am using the Third age kingdoms hosted mod and In the mod there are Heroes. The heroes are basically unique generals. So, I want to take the battle model of a hero from one faction and add it to another. I was looking in some of the tuturiols on how to add units to existing faction. They seem to have some usefull information about editing the battle_models file, but Generals seem to be different then units. I have tried messing around with it and the game crashes a bunch, I'm not to sure what I'm doing.



    Okay, here is the model I want to change. Right now it has the ownership of egypt, and I want to add the ownership to the mongols.

    Are these unique generals or regular generals for the factiontype?

    Anyways we have to add the battle model in the descr_character.txt.

    There unique Generals. Also the unique generals are starting generals.

    Give the faction it's ownership in the BMDB file and go in the descr_strat.txt add the model to new character belonging to that faction like this for eg.

    When u add ownership to the faction in BMDB file make sure the textures and mesh files exists in the right folder otherwise CTD.
