    Default Annexing Client States

Hey. I have a quick question. In order for Rome to annex its Italian allies and any future client states, does an option appear to upgrade the client state building to annexation, or does one have to destroy the client state building and rebuild to the annexation building?

Also, on the subject of these governance building options, it would be really cool if someone could make a simple manual as to how they exactly progress. For example, the regional focus description says what your immediate options are but only vaguely hints at what the future upgrades will be. This makes it so that a player has to discover what his options are as he goes. I am personally a mega-planner so this is difficult for me.

    Thx. Awsome mod.

i think the fourth city level, and you need to build up to the barracks before the campus martius, and also a forum there might be others i can't quite remember it should say in the building description

I'm currently working on central italy.

The requirements are the big barracks that looks like a block (name escapes me xD but I think it's the highest pre-marian barracks) and the forum, then you can build up from annex to citizen. That much I'm sure of.

Thx everyone for the help. This reaffirms though what I was saying. The building descriptions vaguely say that citizenship is the next step but it doesn't give any specifics on the pre-requisites.

I think this is quite clear, and not vague at all...in fact, its the FIRST line of the building description:

    Client or Allied State
Note: This building provides a large happiness bonus in newly conquered areas, but it renders a significant tax penalty. Also, in order to build the next building in this tree (Citizenship), you will need to have built a 'forum' and the Roman Oppidum, Provincial.

    Annex
Note: This building provides a large tax bonus, but happiness and law suffer as a result. Also, in order to build the next building in this tree (Citizenship), you will need to have built a 'forum' and the Roman Oppidum, Provincial.

    Perhaps your eyes are vague?

I actually read the whole description on anything I have to deal with. Why can't others be more like me?
