    Default Driver issues (I suppose)

I noticed how awfully silent my pc was, and with everything maxed out, I couldn't get more sound out of my pc than out of my cat. So I figured there's a problem.

I toggled this 'Realtek HD Audio Configuration', and after clicking on 1 button (changing from Stereo to quadrafonic.. or whatever), I got no more sound. Changing back to 'Stereo' in that options menu didn't help, and everything I did didn't help. So Ima browse Google and find drivers. I download Driver Robot (and Driver Finder which essentially does the exact same thing), only to find out I have 11 Driver problems, 3 of which are audio - obviously I click the 'Update Drivers' button, but it seems you gotta buy for it.

Also, after I messed with the 'Realtek HD Audio Configuration'-thing, I decided to reboot the pc but then my mouse didn't work all of a sudden. Could there be any sort of connection ?

So now I'm left with 11 Outdated Drivers (according to both programs), no sound, and an old mouse - all because I just wanted Nirvana to sing 5 decibels louder

So no my question is : What the hell do I do ?

    Driver Sweeper

Use this to clear out old drivers and let us know if it did the trick. Good luck!
