Default Tokus in the spot light again

Just wanted to chip in the latest from hollywood Easy access to the interview here, but also a D/L audio clip here which you can bring with you on your iPod while you excercise You can also find the discussion thread on the main page. The interview is done by the TWC Podcast teammember Legio over at Content Staff.

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Wow, very cool find and interesting interview!
Funny to hear Sir Tokus' nice Glaswegian accent

The Danes, I swear, with their half arsed attempts at a 'war'. You gotta give it to 'em, they just dont stop trying. Listen, I've fought the Timurids, ever heard of them? Elephants with cannons on their backs. Yea, Timurids. You guys are like kids on tricycles compared to them. -REZ

Tokus aint gonna like that, he has a most pleasing to the ear Edinburgh burr.

Very interesting podcast, DLV got a small mention but it was great to hear Tokus speak after all the years I've known him and to hear his ruminations on LOTR, modding past/present & future and anyone who can keep Legio silenced has obviously got the gift of the gab

    The swearing was awesome

Aw he really loves his symbols, doesn't he? That was really very sweet

Great to hear how such joy and passion drives his excellent work, explains some of why it's so good perhaps. But then the man is obviously very talented too

Am tickled pink by your kind words. All of you. Blush! Blush!! No one else on Divide and Conquer was available so I took the call. Good fun. We must do a DLV Skype confab. See if Legio can handle Harry, Tai, Sivil, Shad and the gang in full flow.

Shad Sir - I have done even newer DLV symbols - the entire set again from scratch. Better touches, banner improved too. Alas though; I've been hit with hectic studio work but trying to get basic set together based on Shadrach / Tokus symbol mod templates. SooOOoon. I'll do the n. european culture ones and test in my 6.2 + BB41 game.

Taiji - BB41 is neat! I've not had the infamous 1239 crashes. Stable and firm game. Well done. It's terrifying on the strat and battle maps! You're on BB45 already - you're so fast!

Harry - at last there's an Aragon mod that'll blend into Taiji's BB recasting Aztecs as a range of varied rebels. Europa with the 6.2 + BB enhancments too. A Welsh patch could be build into the Aragon code now it has been figured out. TQ is a cool guy and would be keen, am sure if you had the inclination.

Silvilo - let me know what DLV graphics you require for the DLV intro. My only suggestion is the last image of the movie blend into the current loading splash. Can provide most DLV text and graphics to your design. Please advise.

Legio - let us know when an' where and the gang will be there to tell you all about our new DLVelopments...

Well Tokus, if Repman could see you now, he would be soo proud. All grown up and making a name for himself. naw () Ahh yes, the intro! I'll see what I can do, infact, I'll make it simple. And btw, don't forget, we are not just vikings, saxons and celts(?), but we also have some Bysantine blood from our addict-at-arms Agis Tournas.

Legio, welcome to the lair, the den, the halls of addicts who use their every penny on the same thing that's driving them insane. Welome to Deus lo Vult.
