Graphic Problem

I have some graphics problem and need help.

1. At loading the game after the greenish script mentioning "boris vorontsov" a light green color develops from the left upper corner and finally covers the entire screen. Since there is no change, pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del brings up the appropriate Windows screen which when canceled allows further game booting. Very strange.

2. The "User Interface" (the city "screen" which allows selection of "Construction" and "Recruitment" is extremely bright yellow, not white like usual, making it almost impossible to make a selection. Besides, the bright light and less contrust causes watery eyes and does not allow to play the game for a prolonged time period.

3. The same is true for the unit interface on the battle map. Often it is not possible to determine which unit has been clicked on.

I have anti-aliasing and bloom off. Campaign Map and Battle Map (except the unit insert) is perfect. I tried various Resolutions but with no change.

Can this be corrected?

If you are getting bright interfaces it usually means that you've still got bloom on. If you see the black screen as you've mentioned you've defintely got bloom on.

In order to deactive it press Shitft+F12. The only way to deactive the bloom permanently is to change it on the launcher - select 'special bloom effects' and then select 'none' from the window that pops up.

Another problem with the bloom is that the UI is too bright. You can disable it for the campaign map using shift+f12, and re-enable it for battle with the same keys. It is also strongly advised to use minimal UI in battle to reduce the impact of the brightness. You will be able to chose between two different settings : "Dark" and "Light", and a third option, "Custom" is also available. This one is for people who want to use their own bloom settings. You will need to put the "enbseries.ini" file in \data\_IMPORTANT_STUFF\HDR\custom (a folder you will need to create). "None" remove the bloom.

Ohw... i cant use the launcher btw, im useing the batch files for each game i play ;( other solutions?

Is that becuase you're using steam?

If so, make the selections in the RS2 launcher then close that and go to your steam launcher.
