problem with RSII launcher

hello,

I've a problem with the RSII launcher, when I double-click on the deskop icon, the launcher appears but it freeze immediatly and I can't changa any of the settings or start the game. The strange thin is that it was working well just yesterday when I tried to play the Romans.

I saw someting about launching the game using ''Batch'' files in the release thread but I don't know what it is or where to find it .

My Computer specs:

- OS : Vista

- Game version : Rome Total War 1.5 (no BI or Alexander)

- No steam

- Install: C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\

Go to yor rome total war directory and there are batch files click the one with the exe your using and choose the faction to play
