Shield Wall Icon missing

On all of my Spartan Hoplites, I can activate the shield wall by pressing F or pressing where the button should be, but there is simply nothing there.

The shield wall formation is a unit ability, like the rally call for a general. It works fine, but has a missing icon where the unit abilities should be. I'd screenshot, but my game now CTD's on loading a campaign

i can confirm there is some weird textures in that button or nothing at all
