Question is clear: Which RTW mod is your favourite one?
from this eb even though i am not able to instal it on my computer(dont know why)
RTR or EB, they are my favourites, but RTR is little better![]()
XGM!!
Meh.
There isn't Battles of Asia in the poll, so i don't vote.
The other mods are all the same and don't add nothing important to the vanilla.
There are many more mods then just 4![]()
RTR and it's the only one I have tried so far and I haven't got bored with it yet. Though I reckon I would like EB if I tried it. So why only the 4 mods?
Downloaded EB...playing it...liking it. So I would say I like them both. EB is a differrant game experience. It feels like a much deeper game crossed with a Role Playing Game in how emersive it feels leading your faction. With the care and attention you play on building your faction up economically in the begining those victories mean something when they start coming in.
I can see me playing this more for the factions that aren't in RTR so both mods co exist for me.
RTR is still good and doesn't need to feel it's being left out and of course it hasn't those heavily scripted turns to wait through.
Hi all, I guess Im new here as this is my first post, but Ive been lurking around for about a year now.
I've tried a couple of these mods and thus far I'd say my pick is RTR.
I also liked many aspects of The Greek Wars, and other aspects of Sparta TW (correct name?) and wish i could actually kinda combine them somehow sorta...
I also wanted to thank all you guys talking about your favorites as it is giving me new leads for what im sure are great mods for me to check out. wish there was a mods folder category for Total Conversion mods to separate them from the other smaller changes mods so i can figure out what im looking through in these downloads categories. With that said, I want to give a HUGE thanks to TWC for hosting all this, and a bigger thanks to ALL the modders out there for so much time and effort to bring us all this extra entertainment.

It will be divided into three periods, each one partly (not fully) reflecting the position at that time. I hope to make good use of the Rome Total War engine, as it allows flexable movements and complex diplomatic agreements."

*sigh* 4 mods to vote
good luck guys.
Its a perfect 5-4-3-2 split. I voted RS because I hate the 15 turn limit before the city is converted to your faction. RS has the RTR epicness along with the vanilla feel.
I was once an Angel of Total War Heaven, but gave up my wings for a life on the sea of battle.
Gosh, i would love to play RS![]()
RSII, because it's just about the only historical mod with an Active Multiplayer and reasonable enough balance.
Europa. Soo many units to choose from that isn't all legions of rome!(RSI + II) It also has great looking units. RTR is good too.
I love EB, so it gets my vote. But RSII is a beautiful mod, so it's a definite second place.
Alea Iacta Est (The Die is Cast) - Gaius Julius Caesar
An army of sheep led by a lion is better than an army of lions led by a sheep - Alexander the Great
We will either find a way, or make one - Hannibal Barca
EB for me. The only one on the poll that offers me more than just fun on the battle-map.
"If History is deprived of the truth, we are left with nothing but an idle, unprofitable tale." - Polybius

This is so idiotic, this poll doesn't even hold half of the hosted mods on this forum. I enjoy playing "Diadochi - Total War".
