Most annoying loud animal that lives near you.

When I lived in Chicago we had Sparrows that would nest in our yard close to my window. At almost all hours of the day during certain times of the year they would chirp NON STOP. They would start at the crack of down and go on until sundown or sometimes later.... year after year. Easily insanely annoying.

Then I heard this:


I can expect they are more annoying, lol.

Anyways what animals wake you up in the morning or keep you up all night? I dont count "humans", lol. Though thats my current problem.

There's always been families of squirrels living in the trees around my house. Red squirrels are the worst, because they always get into fights and are always angry.

It was good when we had a family of blue jays living in the yard, because every time they saw a squirrel they'd 'dive-bomb' it and scare it away. Blue jays are vicious little birds, but they keep other irritating animals away.

The most annoying thing around here is other people's dogs. Although the robins that live around here peck at the windows all day sometimes. Thank god for guns.

The good thing about living in Britain is that we don't have any audible native animal species unless you go way into the countryside. We have the odd bird and insects, but other than humans and pets i've not seen a single mammal, fish, reptile or amphibian for about a month now.

Sometimes these bad boys go on and on during the night. The first one of each night always makes me jump too, because its a pretty spooky noise.

So am I, but well, noone near me keeps animals and there is no environment suitable for them near me given that i live next to a large marshy wetland.

Caterwauling foxes can be terrifying if one doesn't know what they are. They sound like a child in distress, crying out endlessly for its mother, which is chilling coming from outdoors after midnight.

Not annoying, not loud, but just reporting that I can see at least 8 roe deer outside the window, all does or fawns.

Edit: possibly fallow deer.

Dog. Most useless animal species ever, especially in densely inhabited regions. They're loud and ugly, they stink, they're stupid as , oh and they crap everywhere.
Other than that, I've had a chaffinch in the backyard that kept calling the whole summer, almost 24/7. That was mildly annoying.

American Red Squirrels. They are like the Eurasian Red Squirrel, but native to the Americas.

My neighbor's loud ass dogs. All they do is bark all effing morning.I am going to end up shooting the SOB's one day.

Probably, but the buzzards usually take care of any bird that sits on a fence advertising its position, and i'd hardly call them loud anyway.

My neighbours have 2 dogs that have barking fits every so often. I wish I could just kill them.

for me its the 2 roosters from one of my neighbours.they like to start at around 5 in the morning every time.

^ Oh yeah, people with a preference for loud music. They don't hear the bass, but I can hear it. From miles away.
Once some of my neighbours thought it a brilliant idea to stage a racket at about 3 to 4 AM, in their backyard (they were making a noise like rabid monkeys). I was sick and had a paper to finish. I honestly considered throwing something hard at them (my balcony is in an excellent position), but then again I was afraid that might kill one of them, which would entail a lot of tedious paperwork.
Yeah and the odd drunken returning from the pub at night...

When I lived in the city I would have said humans, especially the ones in aeroplanes.

Now I live in the country nothing bothers me because I happen to like birdsong.
