Default Moving troops into besieged city?

    Greetings all.

First and foremost, just wanted to say thank-you again to all the RSII developers/testors; going above and beyond in creating a mod that, in my opinion, will no undoubtedly go down as the best in RTW history.

I just started a campaign as the Romans and had the most epic battle of my RTW life trying to defeat Hannibal. I lost, but only slightly and afterwords Hannibal besieged one of my cities. I was going to move troops next to the city to come in as reinforcements if he did assault, but I accidentally clicked on the city and my troops went right in, despite the city being besieged. Is that normal? I don't ever remember having that option.

Sigh, I wish I were able to do that.
But no, must be a bug.

Well I found several Problems with attacking a city. Billistas can not be moved durring deployment parts and even durring the assult. The only way I found to move them is to click the unit or wall I want them to shoot at. Then they will move in tell they are in range and then shoot. All so another problem I see with the cities is that units are compressed to small they will not take up the whole road and this restricts there movements when on the road being that compressed. I even seen units getting hung up on the gates of the city, buildings and other units. Units all so Go the wrong way, I click the unit to move through the gate and can even see where they suppost to go, but instead they march in then go right back out or worse is that 1/2 go to the area that I told them too while the rest of them go back out and march to the other side of the map.
Units facing is not working right, I have noticed several time that the units will attack a unit, but for some reason will due a 180 and have there backs to the enemy. I have noticed this every single battle so far.
    Im playing as Sparta..

I've never known it to be possible to move a unit into a settlement that is under siege.

Pathfinding problems, especially on the higher unit size settings, is a problem with RTW and nothing to do with the mod.

If you order a unit that has 'guard mode' on to attack a unit they will walk backward sinto the battle. It's a RTW thing. Turn off 'guard mode'.

Path finding problems, especially on the higher unit size settings, is a problem with RTW and nothing to do with the mod. Ok thanks, some mods fix this by changing the settings for the gates and other parts. I was not sure if you guys messed around with the gate settings.

Ok, I was checking, to me some of the cities appear to have been changed; I was just mentioning it in case you guys changed the numbers or other. Have not had the path finding problem with RS 1.6. So I find that a little weird.

If you order a unit that has 'guard mode' on to attack a unit they will walk backward into the battle. It's a RTW thing. Turn off 'guard mode'.

Ok thanks, I found that out last night when I was messing around. Found if you turn off Guard mod they don’t due that anymore.

I've never known it to be possible to move a unit into a settlement that is under siege.
WOW don’t know how that happened tried it like 10 time last night-Did not work for me.

Pathfinding problems are usually encountered on the battlemap and not the strategy map.

The moving into a settlement may be specific to a certain settlement with certain walls (or no walls).....

@Knossos - can you either provide a compressed save game prior to that battle or provide more details on which settlement and what type of walls? Thanks.
