supringsingly low framerates

when doing a 4 v 4 i will have alot of lag where i have seen people with very simiilar hardware specs run it like butter.


not sure what's the problem? maybe pc?

i've heard such an old game would not optimize all my hardware properly.

interested on your thoughts.

i use small mods but others have seen no performance drop like i.

perhaps they have pushed their computer further than myn in some respects or i'm hoping too much.

Maybe its your processor.

I got AMD Phenom X4 965 with 5850 from XFX. I run everything maxed out, no lag.

Could be the mod.

Lower your graphics. You don't need shiny armours in an online battle, do you?
It can also be your connection.

Try installing the DirectX 9.0c runtime - that's what this game was made for in the first place. From what I understand DirectX 11 doesn't have full backwards compatibility. Good luck!

That is correct coz on your native resolution 1024x768 everything should be super maxed and then also it shouldn't lag.

I use a HD5870 and after updating DX9.0c drivers i have no problems at all and run the game in highest settings at 1600x900.

If your 4v4 is online (with mods) then there a lot of other reason

Did you try it with the UAC disabled?
You can download it to your desktop and run it from there.
Know nothing about TATW but what I read here.
