Reassign Independent Greeks

I want to assign all of the Independent Greek cities and characters except for those in Italy, Sicily, and Epirus to the Greek City States for gameplay reasons. What do I have to do in descr_strat (and perhaps elsewhere) to successfully achieve this?

And yes, I realize that this is incredibly unhistorical.

i think it will be better to add just Syracuse with city barracks and a good stack of army so players can choice where to expand in Italy or Greece .

Yeah, I really want to destroy the Roman early in the game not until they are 2 powerful 2 do so

To do this you will only need to edit descr_strat.txt.
1) You will need to get the settlement code for the cities you want to re-assign and put them under the greek_cities entry in descr_strat.

2) Next you will need to cut & paste the armies for the relevant settlements under the greek_cities entry.
(You can skip this if you want to create your own armies from scratch, not recommended for modding rookies)

2a) If you have done the above, then you will need to go to the bottom of the romans_brutii entry and find the names of the generals you copied into the greek_cities part and their children and either put them in the greek_cities part or just delete them if you don't want them to be part of the family tree.

could you give a bit more info or help i tryed it but when i start the campian sreen turn black i give me an error sream i try it on macedom is it that the problem ?

i reinsttal XGM but when i cut only the cyti of Syracuse witouth the army it isint greek
