Cimbri ctd

No steam, cimbri campaign, alexander, i get ctd when i fight the battle near scandinavian village, no error message, only alex.exe stopped working

Can you post a compressed save game here and someone will try and load it.

Does the battle actually load and you start the battle or does it CTD before then?

If it CTDs part way through a battle drop the graphic settings and see what happens.

How can i upload directly to twcenter? And it CTDs when it the bar fully loads, right before loading the battle

It depends upon where you installed the game to.

For instance if you installed to C:\Games\RSII and are using the Cimbri campaign option then they should be in C:\Games\RSII\Play_Cimbri\saves folder.

If you compress that you need to press the button under the message thread to 'Go Advanced' - in that view there will be an option to 'Manage Attachments'...

As it's during the loading process I suspect it may be to do with your graphic settings (asking too much of your system).

OK, I had no problems loading the battle.

There are a couple of things that you can do:

1) Reduce your graphic settings - starting at vegetation.

2) Sometimes with systems that run for a while they get a 'memory leak' - especially with some older games. So, you could try a reboot and then see if you can load the battle.

I guess (2) is easier than (1) in that you keep your settings.

Have you managed ot fight any other battles without problems? The number of units is nothing excessive.

I think it is problem with vegetation, i just played belgae, and it's the same problem, ill check it out, then post here
UPDATE : So after all it was vegetation, i'm sorry for false alarm
