    Icon3 Unrelated family?

I'm playing as sparta(ROMA SURRECTUM 2) and Ive asked this many times but I heard it's normal. The thing is my Heir is not on the tree along with some other family members. Is he and the others not related? I wonder what will happen when he becomes king. A new family tree? Probably but I'm gonna see.

Yes, he will start a new family tree. The two Kings of Sparta were not related, that's why that's set up that way.

Yeah, you'll get a new family tree. Happened to me as Rome when my national leader failed to produce a male heir. Pretty cool addition, imo.

edit: Ah, this grasshopper was not fast enough it seems.

this is something that confuses me-as Rome, i have family members on the map that aren't in the tree. Why? and why are the trained generals "family members" on the list scroll?
