After battles CTDs

Sometimes, quite often to be true, i experience a CTD when after the battle i'm supposed to see the loading bar to go back to campaign map view. At first i thought it could be the NOCD, so i switched to the backup exe, but this joke is going on. Pretty frustrating after big important battles...

My config is:

Windows7 without UAC 
Alexander out of the box (don't know if 1.9)
No Steam
E:\Games\RTW\
Launcher option: Rome, Alex.exe

Exactly. Your RTW doesn't have to be cracked, to want to install a NO CD patch...

You can totally run a legally bought RTW and download a NO CD, just so you don't have to put your CD in the drive everytime you feel like playing RTW.
(I did not do this myself though)

Well in this forum they dont help with people who have cracked versions of the game srry

Well he says hes using the normal .exe now and is still having the problem.

I myself am having the same problem. Constant crashes during and more often after battles. Its getting really annoying and making the game unplayable for me as I have to keep fighting the same battles over.

Well that is a different story maybe save every 3 or so turns and if you can try and auto resolve when you know yo can win if that doesnt help then reinstall

I reinstalled yesterday evening but nothing changed. Maybe it's just Win7 and the old game that battle each other?

And yes i have an original copy, i use the crack because it's more practical since these cds are old enough...

As you are clearly using a Crack - closed.

Install using an official version of the game and we may be able to help.
