    Default 40 turn crash culprits?

    Just pooling some ideas for a CTD well within the game during the enemy AI turn. I have deleted the siege engines (ballista to trebuchet maker) because I just want cannons in play, and wonder - is there an error when someone gets an ancillary for siege weapons? I dunno. Anyway, my error log shows non-specific error. I read in the sticky, the 20 turn crash was caused by too many children, but I haven't altered this. Anyone got any other late game crash culprits?

    Removing siege weapons from EDB will not give you a crash and EDCT and EDA are different files which will then not cause any problems in this situation.

    Depending on many things, what does the log say?

    I think its to do with my family trees not being up to scratch. The first crash kept on occuring with my new faction, and occured when the king was about to die. Back to the drawing board.

    It could happen if you don't have an heir already of age.

    @Irishron
    You can have an underage leader\heir in the descr_strat (present_leader\present_heir), so I don't think that is the problem.

    @gig, I think that logic is causing my ctd's.

    Have him load up his log for us to look at.
