Default Dont quite get the instructions in the common errors thread.

    Here it says this:

    4. When the mod has been completly installed, copy and paste the entire contents of the Roma Surrectum 2 map, located on your desktop, to your freshly installed RTW game. folder.
So I cant find "map" and Im anyway weary if it just maybe means the entire RS2 folder content to CA/RTW?

    helps

whoops! map means folder in Dutch..

You should copy the contents of your Roma Surrectum 2 (in which you have installed the mod first) folder to your freshly installed copy of RTW.

If a moderator could change map to folder I would be much obliged..

Kay thx, did that, but now instead of getting the skeleton-ctd or mounted-ctd or just freezes in the loadingscreen, it just ctd's without any message?

Also when changing preferences or unit details etc its says "unable to write files"? Ran as administrator...

I have RTW installed in programs(86x), just read that might causes issues. Should I just install vanilla on the desktop as well?

If you already have one install of RTW you won't be allowed by Windows to install a second one.

If you have a working RTW to use as a base for the mod (even in c:\program files (x86)) simply copy that to a different folder as per the install instructions, apply the mod to that and then run it.

I know, I deinstalled it before trying that.

I know, I deinstalled and then reinstalled it before trying this approach. However I tried again reinstalling vanilla to desktop and now it works. No saying what caused this, but as long as you get there, like that Rome saying. Yay!
