Launcher doesn't Launch

Got RS2 running fine and good. Great. Then CTD mid-battle. Supposedly thats a graphics thing? I'd look into it if I could get the game running again. For some reason the launcher seems to start BI, but then BI minimizes and nothing happens. I maximize, and then it reminimizes over and over. Anyone know why?

Installed to Program Files(x86)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War
Standard installation, no modifications, no steam

yeah I have this too sometimes, but even before I had RSII. So it could be dick problem or RTW. End the process and try to launch again. If not helps, try to restart computer.

disable autosave...reduce aa and set vegetation to low...

I've had a similar problems when bloom is used - simply turn off bloom on the launcher by selecting bloom and then on the pop-up select 'none' rather than 'low', 'high' or 'custom'....
