- What version of RTW do you use?
RTW 1.5
- Are you using steam or not?
No
- Install path
C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Rome - Total War

- Which launcher option have you used (exe, faction etc)
RTW EXE. Any faction I use this error occurs.

Yupp got the same message here.
I already reinstalled once cause I was missing that Skeleton for Javeling rider thingie.

I hope someone finds a solution very soon.

I just noticed that before I get the errormessage I get a black screen with a little green text in the upper right corner. It says something about "beta: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories"

Quite funny, just when you think that you have downloaded Roma Surrectum it's actually a Gta game

dont install in program files...second...install rs2 in some new folder then copy that content in to yours rome total war folder...then make a new shortcut of your rs2 luncher...thats all

That's not all for me. In case you mean don't install the vanilla rtw in Program Files.

welll...yea...thats the first thing...but if u follow all this then it should all work...install it in like...hm...c:/rome total war...

Did you have the same problem? Did that fix it? I don't want to be reinstalling if there is a more simple solution.

If you read the Release thread there is a section that explains the Bloom Effect.

Anyway, the file that was used came from the GTA game - that's why you see it.

Okay. So I made a new folder on my desktop with clean RTW 1.5 in it. Currently installing RS2 to it. Will post results ASAP.
