Launcher crashes after selecting campaign.

Rome Total patched with 1.3 then 1.5. Not using steam.

RS2 was installed in the right directory (Activision folder in Program Files)

After selecting my Seleucid campaign and getting my preferences (Post-Marian, High quality vegetation and High res units) i click Play only to see the red RTW start up square thing pop at which point the Launcher says it is not responding and crashes and nothing else happens. I am clueless.

You are sure you have not Yes on the Steam Button?

Steam is off. It's on the 'No' setting.

What about installing the mod from the installer in a folder somewhere, copy the launcher folder from there to your RS folder, and see if it works?
Or do a totally knew install.

Yep tried re-installing RTW, installing RS2 into a separate document and the copying the files into the RTW folder and running the Batch file. No luck. RTW vanilla won't start either. I tried and the original red square "Rome Total War" thing comes up before disappearing and thats it. No error message, no 'has stopped working' message - nothing. I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. I uninstalled everything, deleted the Activision folder and re-installed a clean version and still the same issue. I also used a registry cleaner before installing the fresh copy. Im stumped.

Rome Total War wont launch by itself. I've tried uninstalling, deleting remaining files/folders and then running a registry cleaner before re-installing to no avail. As soon as i hit "Play" It shows the small red RTW square before crashing to the desktop with no error message. Anyone know what my problem is?
