Unable to play a campaigne

My OS is VISTA
I am using Rome Total War Gold
I am using STEAM
C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/rome total war gold/
Launcher options: "Rome" and "Rome TW-BI.exe"

In the Main menu, after selecting "Single Player", I am only able to start a battle or a custom battle. There is no option to initiate a campaign. Note! I have re installed RS2 according to Quintus Sertorius instructions.

I have read the detailed release instructions, and also related issues in the RSII Technical Help thread. However, I am still not able to start a campaign.
