Unshape UI problem

Hi,

I have a problem with the UI and the Text. Everything is very fussy, unsharp and looks not so good.
I have a 1680x1050 monitor, playing on this setting.

I tried to turn of AA, I turned of widescreen support, tested some different resolutions, but the building icons etc are still very unsharp.
Anybody has the same problems?

Are you using the 'bloom effect'? To me that makes the UI bright and can be hard to read.

You can disable/enable them if you press Shift+F12 - as per the install instructions

"You can disable it for the campaign map using shift+f12, and re-enable it for battle with the same keys"

I'm using bloom, but I turn it off in the campaign with shift+F12. But still, the icons of the building and the text is truely unsharp

Does that happen in vanilla RTW? It may just be something on your system that's causing it.

Try to turn on AA from your graphic card center (Nvivia : control panel I believe, ATI : Catalyst center), and override game options.

Doe it also happen in RTW and any other mod?

Well it happened in any other RTW Mods and in vanilla RTW.

Well, it's either something in RTW and can't be fixed or it may be a combination of your graphics card, screen and graphic options.

I play at 2560x1600 on a pair of GTX295s using a Dell 3008WFP - I think it looks OK:
