IMPORTANT - regarding the script

This is important as it affects the whole campaign experience.

Three points to remember.

1) Always make sure the script runs when you start the campaign. When you start the campaign first time it should autoactivate and add one denarius to your treasury.

2) Each time you reload the campaign (or if it doesn't autoactivate the first time), click on a settlement then on the face of the advisor that pops up. Again you'll see one denarius added to your treasury.

3) If you decide to switch campaigns to a different one, you must exit the whole game (not just the campaign) and relaunch otherwise the script won't run.

Okay, so when I come in-game then start a Campaign and have for example 10000 in my treasury, it'll go up to 10001 if the script is working right?

As Tone has mentioned you can tell that the script has started by your teeasury has increased by 1.

If you want to see if the script is still working later on - simply open the 'Rome Console' (on UK keyboards it's with the tild key (¬) - it's usually the key under the ESC key and tht eh left of the '1' key on top of the keyboard). When you've done that press the up arrow and scroll through the commands that have been issued.

I've just noticed that (when loading a game and the show me how button on your advisor is greyed out), having her appear several times and pressing her portrait each time untill opening city details doesn't make her come up again, this adds a denarius to your treasury and thus seems to be causing the script to activate.

in my current campain nothing happens when i push on the show me how button and /or her face ..even after doing that 5 times the game doesnt add a denarius to my treasury pls help

yer i think it is mentioned kinda that...does it run in your campains? i click on her face she disappers after the second time ,but ive still only 10000 gold not 10001

You can also check console, if u see add_money 1 that would mean script is running i think.

I think you can take that as an indication that the script is working.

You can go back through the commands that have been issued by continuing to press the up arrow key (how you saw the add_money seleucid....

i have found the mistake^^ i have (and i think everyone else also )to reload the whole game for each save(even if u only want to go back 2 turns and dont want to change the whole campain(for that tone said ive to reload whole game but not for going back 2 turns)).after reloading the game and starting my save i can activate the script and get one denarius^^

Yes, every time you load/reload a campaign you need to quit the whole game first and restart the launcher, otherwise no script.

wow that's going to be inconvenient- i restarted my campaign twice after the carthaginians sunk ships carrying an army to Carthage from Sicily.... i guess this means i'll have to play honestly from now on.

strange some of most highly regarded people in the forums do this.... in any case i do this rarely. i auto-resolve with auto-win sieges though, because i SUCK at sieges. You honestly have no idea how bad i am-i once lost 95% of my men in a Spain vs Maya siege as Spain in M2TW -i took the city, which was very pyrrhic. open battles i generally fight though, i'm good at them.
