    Default 'Known issue', am I missing patches?

    I get the error that is mentioned in the 'known issues' thread;

    Script Error in play_rome/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.txt, at line 12, column 1.
    Expected start date of campaign or battle.
    Clicking the 'Click here to start ... campaign' button does not make a difference.

    I have RTW patched to 1.5 with BI on top, do I need all the previous patches to solve this?
    I seem to remember that I only needed 1.5, it's been a long time since I last installed a working RTW version.
    "The only question that remained was whether the founders knew the final result of their creation, or if they themselves where the victims of a misunderstanding.
    In the latter case it was the duty of any thinking human, to press himself into the front of this depraved movement, to perhaps still prevent the extreme, in the former case the founders of this peoples disease must have been true devils; for only in the brain of a monster - not of a human - could the plan for an organisation take meaningfull form, whose purpose must lead toward the end result of a collapse of human culture and thus to the desolation of the world.
    In this case only battle remained as a means of final delivery, battle with any weapons that the human mind, intellect and will are able to comprehend, regardless, of whom fate would gift with it's blessing."

    Do you mean to ask if I patched BI to 1.6?
    I thought that patch was included with the BI install...

    EDIT: I'm downloading the BI patch now, sorry for wasting your time with such a noobish mistake...
    Thanks for the help.

    Did you look at the historical battles menu at all?
    If so, you get an error like that.

    I think steam auto patches all your games when you play them but im not sure you may want to ask tone or apple.

    It does, but you need Steam, which was not the case.
