Default Need to know orginal stats of Byzantine faction troops after i edited them and saved over the orginal expor_strat_unit file..

Ye. Pretty novice error. So i was changing the unit upkeep per turn for most of the units of the Byzantine empire and instead of saving it as new file, i saved over the vanilla file. Can anyone provide a list of what the original upkeep for each of the byzantine units is , or even the entire file, would be very helpful.

If you unpack again it should be overwritten. Just back up your changes.

Tip from the ReadMe file: to unpack individual files or group of files with a common denomination (parts of the name, extension) use the line below in a batch file. The part in red will be your file name. As I have modified the file myself and changed the unpack directory, you will find the unpacked file(s) in the C:\unpack directory instead of the game root directory.

    unpacker --source=..\packs\*.pack --destination=c:\unpack\ --filter=*.txt
    Making a batch file:
    1. open notepad and copy the above line into it
    2. Edit the required file name (wild cards a re permitted)
    3. "Save As..." (choose 'All Files' from the drop down menu in the small window) MyUnpack.bat
