Why I want to become a citizen

I have been a full-time member since February 2007 the time I discovered this wonderful site.
I signed up after a couple of days as I was coughed by all the friendly post's I had seen and the huge collection of great modifications for Rome Total War.

All great members that I meet made me stay and develop a goal to become a Citizen, a place for those who had done something special.
This site has many great contributors, many people who spend most of there free time to mod, share there work and knowledge to others
as well as debate in a serious and well mannered ways.
I have looked up to these people as a little brother looking on his elder brothers in awe.
This is something that I since then have strived to become.

    Duties as a citizen

A citizen is for me someone that others can look up to and strive to become like, there duty as a citizen is responsibility to act as a source
of inspiration but also a person that is just and helpful to those who are in need.

    My contributions to this community

After some months I found out a way for me to do this in my own kind of way, a instrument that I could if not master at least be good at.
This instrument was music and so did I start to compose some song for myself while reading about all great stuff being created.
I contacted Dvk901, the founder of Roma Surrectum, asking him if he would allow me to make a set of new music for his Roma Surrectum 2.
To make a long story short he and the whole team welcomed me with open arms and my carer as a contributor on twc started.
Here are just a few samples of the content I have made since the start.

I would say that I have learnt allot during my time as a Roma Surrectum developer and I thank my fellow friends there for there help and the trust they have showed me.
One thing that really shaped my presence here was the huge responsibility I was given as a local moderator of Roma Surrectum's beta testing and main forum.
I think that the moderator role has prepared me somewhat to become a citizen.
It's a huge responsibility as you have to state a example in how to behave on this site. I try to be as just and helpful as I can and on the same time as encouraging as possible.

I have also been lucky to been a member of a couple of other mods and their wonderful teams. The ones that I currently are a member of are these:

    Age of Darkness 2
    Rome Total Realism
    Roma Surrectum 1 & 2
I have also created some work for Paeninsula Italica for M2TW and RTW, but I’m not officially part of that team

Apple is someone that I have known for many years. He is also someone who I have stalked for years, and it is true that I asked to patronize him around a year ago, when Roma Surrectum 2, the Rome: Total War mod, was still in development. Every since I met him (around May of 2008 if I recall correctly), apple has always struck me as a hard working, down to earth, honest, and damn good looking fellow. This can be seen by his application, his posting style, and his Say Cheese posts.

But to be serious. Apple is a machine. He can make music very well. He can code. He can also make and add unit cards to the game. He is a very versatile member of any modding team, and it is precisely for this reason that he is a most valuable asset. He is always cool headed and fair. He has not incurred a single moderator interaction. He has not even been approached unofficially for something. Apple, in short, is impeccable.

Whether it be for his plethora of modding work, his stainless attitude, or his tireless local moderation, apple will be a true gem for the Curia. I would even go so far as to say that I would like to see him in staff!

Ladies and gentlemen of the CdeC, I present apple.

As did I, never the less not a pure yes from me. To be fair everyone should be subjected to equal scrutiny. We'll start at the beginning and see what develops....

Apple is a fine candidate. He found a niche to provide new content to existing mods. He is not the first to do so, but this is still a contribution. More to check, but probably a yes from me.

I love the way he handles posts in the RS forums, it has been a real tough time these last few weeks for the local moderators of set forum. I experienced apple's behaviour first hand and i was impressed by the professional approach.

I ' ll go a little bit deeper in to all of this but i am happy of what i am seeing at this point.

Moderation material if ever I saw it, a yes from me.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

As well as all the things he has linked, the way he puts in so much time as well as his patience in the mod forums, and the endorsements senior experienced members here have made about him in this thread, he seems like a pretty down-to-earth lad too. I hope the CdeC endorsing him will encourage him to press on with his contributions.

    Go on then.

This is an easy one. Apple is a great guy and his work adds a lot to a mod. I wish I would have patronized him myself.
