Cancel Marian Reforms
Hey, i am playing a campaign in RTR gold, and i like to cancel the marian reforms.
Do i need to delete the roman entry for building an imperial palace,
or just delete the units from export_descr_unit and some other files?
Or is there an easier way?
Thanks a lot.

Re: Cancel Marian Reforms
I've only just started playing this mod so I don't exactly feel qualified to answer... but I would think it works the same as in vanilla, so the easiest way not to have the reforms would be just to not build any imperial palaces yourself, since there are no other Roman factions that might do it.

Re: Cancel Marian Reforms
The Marian Reforms are hardcoded into the Rome Total War game, and cannot be avoided with scripts. The only way to avoid it is to not build imperial palaces in the Italian AOR settlements. If you build the palace in Rome, the reform is not triggered. If you capture a Huge City outside of Italy, the reform is not triggered. I do not know if the reform is triggered if you (as Rome) build an imperial palace in some other area such as Gaul.
Or you could modify the EDB to prevent imperial palaces in the Italian AOR.
