Yeah it usually helps but not always. RTW's engine just don't like that we have a crazy amount of different units.

It's an RTW thing.

Quite often you can select another settlement and then the unit cards work again. Other times this does not work.

There is nothing any mod team can do about this.

Just make a new folder and call it Rome Vannila or whatever and paste vannila in it

PLS, i need help when i launch RS II on the launcher and the drum roll starts then the black screen appears, its says generic error - unable to find skeleton forester rider.......
and then it closes back to desktop can anyone help?

So now I tried to do it through preferences.txt, changed FOG_OF_WAR from true to false and still the problem persists. Am I missing something or am I not able to do this?

You need to edit the preference in the modfolder you are using. So if you are the romans go to the play_rome folder and edit that preference.txt

You should also be able to do it using the console command and type in toggle_fow

Dear Forum,

I just downloaded the required RS II files frim FILE FRONT... but the RS21.cab-file has been saved on my PC under the name "CAB3B1S8.cab". Is this ok?
