No sound

It's been months since I played Napoleon, tried it, but I had a mod on it, and after the latest update they weren't compatible, so I deleted the the game, then the full game folder to make sure no mod files were left behind, I downloaded and installed the game, and even bought the Peninsula pack, but when I started it, I got no sound, I get the into sound, but the menu and game has no sound, I tried to restart steam and my computer with no luck

Did you delete scripts folder?
