    Default offending nobility

My king has offended the nobility(don't ask me why though), but the message with it says "generals will pick sides in an upcoming civil war". My question is has someone ever had a civil war or are these just messages and doesn't a civil war happen in the game. I'm playing as CS.

Quite soon you'll notice that your various generals and familymembers start dividing into Loyalist (which gain Loyality) and Rebels (which lose Loyality). If left alone you'll eventually lose controll of the rebels, so you can't move them more than a single square at at time, if at all, and the towns they reside in could easily gain so much unrest that they'd rebel.

Yeah, the moment I notice that someone looks like they're going to the rebel camp, what I tend to do is:
    1) Into the ocean
    2) Solo charge into enemy
    3) Turn them into a heavy cavalry unit following someone with MORE command than they do ...

Its too bad for the rebels that they are instantly found out and *cough*neutralized*cough* by their faction leader in the sky. Or anyone with low loyalty for that matter, since it's easily observable by the player.

Getting your king killed off might be the easiest way to fix the entire problem.

Hmm, I always assumed the next one would just get the same issue ...
Sometimes my leader is a 10 star 10 dead guy who is singlehandedly responsible for trashing entire factions (well the militia help, but his dread routs them).

That and I like the idea of neutralizing rebels. Get more for adoption anyway >.>

Wow, I never saw this - how does it come about?
The game development business is one of bottomless greed, pitiless cruelty, venal treachery, rampant competition, low politics and boundless personal ambition. New game series are rising, and others are starting their long slide into obscurity and defeat.

Are these triggers also active for the AI factions?

For the rest, FactionIsLocal is one of the conditions, meaning only the player can get them.

no it isn't... it sucks big buck....

it renders almost half of your generals immobile and worthless and you can't get rid of them... If the settlement doesn't rebel then nothing happens... the best thing to do is to move every pre-rebel general (certain trait indicates) out of the settlements and into the "death-ships"....

If I get this trait I usually just remove_trait 'cause I have had many games ruined because of this....

    King has offended nobility->results in:
    -upcoming civil war
-half (more or less) of your generals loose al their loyalty
-those generals that loose their loyalty, when you put them in a settlement, the settlement will have a major uprising (civil unrest)....settlement wil rebel(maybe not first turn but 2nd or 3rd).
-when those generals are in the field they will rebel
-if one of those generals are leading an army in the field then there is a very big chance your entire army will rebel.

Conclusion: don't offend the nobility....kind off a nightmare.

I'd prefer the generals rebel right then and there, none of this coercing them into ships and such. Make it more like the Baron's Alliance in Britain Campaign.

Then there'd only by 10 factions instead of 20.

    Stupid hardcoding.
