This goes out to posters of the Political Academy, more so perhaps the Political Mudpit:

Since you are a poster of such forum, you have probably faced this (many) times before. Perhaps lots of times: How do you consistently observe bad politics (ii) and not let it get into your sanity and screw up your mental state. To not go "in full rage" of resentment because of it?

(ii) Bad politics = An absurd and dehumanizing occasion, contradictory or grossly hypocritical event. (huge tax increase, bombing of civilians, step up a-/pull out from a war, etc. )

I feel that the only way - Is to detach oneselfs completly from any emotional state-/not care for any result what ever the outcome of a political case may be. Howver, this has also the steralizing side effect. So what do you usually do to not become completly apathetic?
