    Default Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

    Reposted here from technical forum as told:

    I'm on windows 7 with a modern high spec computer and playing Stainless Steel 6.3.

    The game was working fine for a while but now suddenly every time I want to end a term I get the mentioned error mesage and the game crashes when processing the... something empire. That faction which comes just before the rebels in the list. Kwaza...something or other.

    Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be?
    Where can I find the log file to see which file is at fault?
    Anyway of changing player nation so I can mess with this trouble nation and hopefully try and fix things?

    Moved to the Bug reports forum.

    If your turn number is 51, install the fixpack from the Bug reports for 6.3 topic.

    if the fix doesnt work, try the disable_ai cheat and try to pass that turn. That saved me many times @ 6.0

    after the turn save and load the game and AI will be enabled again

    also i think there is a command to kill a faction if nothing else works. Giving all its settlements to rebels or sumthing like that
