RULES OF ENGAGEMENT!

1. Use town map

2. Use 20 peasants with 9 val as opponents

3. Use four melee troops only with optional sword and/or armour upgrades but no val upgrades (no pikemen)

4. Post battle results and statistics (page that shows how many a unit killed, lost etc.)

5. Please, please, please use spoilers tab to stop lots of scrolling down

If was new peasents of PB was no more easy win like that. RR-RC latest release, use late peasents armed with halebards.

lol almost 3/4ths of the time i was "defeat is certain", believe me, I was thought I was going to lose until dum AI gen decides to die about 10 minutes in and that ruined it, I should try it again with morale off

Gogo: you mean the transylvanian peasants, urban militia with the axes, or actual halberd miltia? cuz I can go do that too, don't start my job till wednesday lol

In RR was 2 types of peasents, one armed with huge hammers, some polearms and sharpen sticks. Atack defence was not great but better than this vanilla one. I use them extensive in early campaigns, and worth against cavalry in melee.
The late version all was armed with poleaxes, not big damage or defence but still cool, and effective against armor and cavalry. Good unit, usefull on battles. And most important they not look at all like these pitch forks boys.
