The RTR Vision
We had the sad news yesterday that our former leader MCM , otherwise known as our ex Pontifex Maximus, MarcusCorneliusMarcellus, is retiring from TWC with immediate effect.
I would like to pay tribute to him as he is the person largely responsible for the fact that there is still a Rome Total Realism team around today. It was his leadership, during the team's darkest hour, that re-lit the RTR flame and rescued RTR7 and transformed it into the RTRVII project, which is nearing its culmination.
Without him there would probably not have been an Iberian Conflict, Fate of Empires, or RTRVII. Of course there are other stalwarts who contributed greatly to the process, but it was with his inspirational leadership and professional approach that the RTR Vision became a living, breathing entity again.
So, on behalf of the team, good luck Mark, all the very best in your future endeavours. It goes without saying that we hope that you will drop in and visit us when you can, because you will always be welcome.
