    Icon9 7 zip Help

Me again with another bone headed problem.

I can play SS 6.3 just fine, but cannot apply any of the fixes/submods that involve a zipped file because 7 zip has yet to work on my computer.
Using version 7zip-4.65, a window pops up which simply reads "Error: Incorrect Command Line" before disappearing again.
So far any attempts to fix the problem have been unsuccessful, though I am continuing to work on the problem and hope to have a working, patched up SS 6.3 by the end of the day...
And yes, I am using Vista (UAC off).

In the mean time, I am wondering if anyone has any idea on what could be the problem and how I can get around it. Also, if you are working 7 zip just fine I'd appreciate you telling me what version you are using.

Any additional help is more than welcome as I am fairly new to windows and find myself somewhat challenged at solving this by myself.

    Thanks in advance.

Tried winrar first and it seems to be working a lot better so far. Will see in a minute though...

Alright so I am able to extract the files now and everything seems to be running smoothly... but when I started the game and started a new campaign, faction banners were still mixed up. The fixes file is also still present in my SS 6.3 folder (normal I assume?).

Extract the fixes somewhere else and move them manually into mods... data folder on data folder or SS6.3 folder on top of SS6.3 folder.

If you put it there, yes. We refrained from including a "mission impossible" self destruct sequence

It took a while, but I went through and manually replaced every file with the new ones in fixes. Fixes have applied and so far no side effects. Maybe I didn't screw it up this time

    Thanks for all the help!
