    Icon5 Anyone have historic_events.txt?

I'm trying to add new historic events to vanilla MTW2.

Followed the tutorial to the letter. For some reason, Python won't work on my computer and Alpaca's device won't turn any of my .string.bin files into regular .txt files.

Similarly, the .string.bin reader won't allow me to create new events. I have tried creating new events (dark_ages in my case), but everytime my campaign approaches the year where my new historic event takes place, it crashes. I am 100% sure that I properly created the new event in the reader/editor (I created entries for Body and Title). I think it's just a quirk of the program.

I think I could solve this if I just had a regular .txt for historic_events. Does anyone have a regular, vanilla MTW2 copy of that text file? Much gratitude.

You have to use python 2.6 only coz the higher versions are not compatible with medieval 2.
Use this or download the bin editor 3.0 so that u can directly edit the bin files.

    It's your choice good luck.
