We cannot let the MAARC go without a medieval one!

    Title: The Sons of Ares

    Author:
    HanatielHawk

    Game:
    Vanilla Rome Total War

    Faction:
    Thrace

    Description:
The once so pathetic Thrace sees chances to break the borders and expand, but there are always problems and troubles on the path to victory. Thrace, willing to expand needs territory but all the territories surrounding them are already taken! In order to dominate all of Europe Thrace will have to go to war with at least one faction, but who? The decision of who to gain war with is decisive for the future of Thrace, will Macedon take up arms first, and Greece will be targeted first, Scythia means expansion to the North, Pontus means expansion in Asia Minor! However, every path will be directed to the path of conquest, but will Thrace reach the end of this path, or will it fall into only an eternal dream of conquering Europe..?

Visions of an Odyssey: A Makurian Dynasty
    Author: Thokran
    Game: Medieval II Total War
    Mod: Broken Crescent
    Faction: Kingdom of Makuria
    Status: Complete

Once a rural backwater tribe, now a mighty Empire spanning oceans and continents alike. Follow the story of Makuria, an ancient African Kingdom on an epic odyssey, fueled by 'visions' foretold by God. Follow along Makuria's meteoric rise to power, as it sheds off the oppressive veil of Islam to bring back the light of Christianity deep into the heart of the Middle East, all in name of these 'visions' of God. It is a story full of intrigue, betrayal, politics, and holy war. It is a story unprecedented in history, that forever alters the fate of the medieval world. It is a story etched into the annals of history, one that future generations of Makurians would never forget. This is their story.

If it isn't too late, I'll nominate mine.

    The Rise of Portugal

    Author: TheBard

    Game: MTW2

    Mod: Stainless Steel 6.3

    Faction: Portugal

Portugal attempts to rise from its position as weakest in the known world to be a regional (or even continental?) power. I play with quite a few house rules, so while there is quite a bit of warfare, you won't see me steamrolling anyone. I'm 81 turns in and have only 7 cities so far. I mix in a fair number of screenshots, and I really try to emphasize some character development, though it is written in third-person, but active tense, historical style. I provide a full, edited family tree with all birth and death years, rankings for top 5 factions (plus Portugal and neighbors), and edited pictures of all living generals every time a new king takes over.

    Author: Skantarios

    Game: Medieval 2: Total War

Mod: Stainless Steel 6.2 with RR/RC

Faction: Byzantine Empire in the 1450 Campaign

Description/Teaser: The Emperor Skantarios has died. Though the empire he left behind is mighty, it is beset with wars on every front and internal dissention from within. With Emperor Vasileios now in control, his sons pursue a path of conquest in the West while the old generals of Skantarios fight to destroy the last vestiges of the Muslims in the East. Can the Empire survive without the strong hand of Skantarios to lead them; or will they succumb to warfare against the Catholics and Muslims while destroying their strength through civil war?
