Installation problem.

After playing NTW recently I decided to start playing MTW2 and RTW again. I installed MTW straight away and it worked fine, RTW also seemed to install just fine. However, when I recently attempted to play the game the demoshield icon appeared and nothing happened. This is a new computer which I am using with Windows 7 which has never had RTW installed on it. I am just wondering does anyone know how to fix my problem, any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried running it XP Compatibiliy mode?

I have not attempted to change the compatibility. Mainly because my computer knowledge is somewhat poor, and I did not know it was possible to do that until I read this. I have looked online at this compatibility mode change but it left me wondering how would it effect my computer. I could not find any real information about the changes it would make just what could be achieved with it.

It only affects the program if it can.

I have Win7, 64bit, and I'm running Rome/BI and Medieval2/Kingdoms in XP Compatibility mode because of their age for one and both did something that was not wuite "XP" for another.
