Issues with Corruption

Hey guys.

Any generals I have in cities over a period of time end up making the city revolt because of the extreme amounts of corruption, this seems to happen to all generals over a period of time. So much so that I don't put them into cities anymore. What can I do about this ? Also, loyalty is also a real problem. I know historically Rome had a lot of power and loyalty struggles but all my generals appear to have no loyalty at all. I give them an army, march them off and BAM! rebelled. I know this is more likely to happen if the army is made up mercs but this has happened to pure roman armies (trying to keep to the standard formation of a legion).

My Corruption expenses is starting to cost me upwards of 80.000!!

WEll, get used to it.
Imagine a guy with entire legion of excellent troops at his command, far from home...he would surely try to make his own place to live.
And cities - happens to me too, not always, but sometimes yes. I just put those generals into forts away from cities so there is other governor taking place and less corruption.
As in readmer - MANAGE your empire, not just fight.

To get rid of the generals and the cost i'll just lump them into a single ship and have it sunk

If generals get to powerful like achieving a lot of victories they will get disloyal, putting them in to a city in italy may resolve this problem (but not always) it will take some time however.

Also watch using money cheats, too much money will cause more corruption, you are having too many problems, and you shouldnt which means your doing something wrong.
